Why Crossfit?
I like Crossfit because it challenges me and always pushes me beyond where I think I can perform. It’s made me stronger and more confident in myself. Every day is a new experience and it never gets old.
Why Bedlam?
It’s home. It was built by my family from their blood, sweat and tears. My brother and sister-in-law have created a place that’s full of love, positive vibes and encouraging people. It’s a place where people want to be….NEED to be.
My 1st CF Experience?
My first CrossFit experience was terrifying, challenging and totally got me hooked. It was a typical rounds for time WOD that had me exhausted, sick and wanting more. (Two hours later I was still recovering. I remember trying to eat some frozen yogurt and thinking to myself, this might not stay down.)

I loved that CrossFit was an activity that I could share with my brother. It was his passion that he talked about all the time, and now I could workout along side of him.

To this day, he is one of my biggest supporters. He knows my potential and wants nothing more than to see me succeed and reach my goals. He’s positive, encouraging and an overall great motivator. I don’t know where I would be in CrossFit without him.

What Drives Me?
Me. I’m lifting weights and doing things I never thought I would be able to do when I started Crossfit. Things I couldn’t imagine. I feel better about myself and I’m in better shape than I’ve ever been.
It’s been a positive experience that has allowed me to make new friends and especially meet other women who share my love of strength, team work and a healthy dose of competitiveness.
My Biggest Achievement?
My biggest achievement outside of the box is being a teacher for 5-6 year olds. I love going to school every day and working with my students. Their fun personalities, positive attitudes and open minds are what makes my job so rewarding. Some find it challenging yet to me….it’s fun! There’s no greater satisfaction than seeing a young child grow and succeed in the classroom.
